With the large amount of feature requests I’ve been receiving I decided it was time to finally add some functionality to the site to allow everyone to add their own feature request and then others can comment and vote on ones they want to see the most. This will help to determine exactly what features are most popular and keep everything organized in one spot.
There are three sections to choose from, Feature Request, Question, and Problem. This will allow everyone to see problems that may be affecting other users, comment on them, and bring a social aspect to features, questions, and problems. In order to submit a new feature request, etc, you will need to click on the Feedback button on the left hand side of the page:
When you click the feedback button a modal will pop up similar to the image below. This is where you can submit a new feature request, question, or problem, as well as vote and comment on existing feature request, question, or problems. Please make sure to check if there is already an existing feature/question/problem before submitting a new one.
As you can see on the left there will be a list of existing feature requests, questions, and problems. If you click on one of them the modal window will change to look similar to the image below and you can upvote, or comment on any existing ones. Again, please check here first before submitting something new in case there is already an existing one.
Soon you will be able to search through existing ones, and even view it on it’s own page (outside of modal window). Until then, enjoy the modal and let me know if you have any problems with it!
